Athlon Drive Tuggeranong, ACT A grade commercial office building, purpose built for the Commonwealth of Australia. Project Value $170M Construction Commencement September 2005 APG worked closely with the client to provide a purpose built facility of 45,000sqm of office space, meeting exacting standards for operational, functional and environmental efficiency. The two, 5 storey buildings are linked by an interactive atrium space. The ground floor of this space (‘Main Street’) includes conference rooms, a crisis centre, café/kiosk and staff social club. The upper floors feature staff relaxation space, meeting rooms and other staff amenities. The building benefits from extensive environmental initiatives, including solar hot water, rain water re-use and recycling and storm water retention and re-use. In September 2005, APG disposed of its interest in the delivery
of the new building to a consortium headed by Multiplex Capital. |
